I have a love/hate relationship with televised pageants.
I mean, in my opinion, they reinforce stereotypes and body image, etc. They just seem shallow.
BUT
I can’t help but watch it
- to see what the rest of America is saying on social networks,
- to read the contestants “passions” and
- because I am shallow.
